First Class Coaching for Boys and Girls
Junior golfers now have a program that enables them to reach their full potential. Keith's junior development program was created to provide regularly scheduled coaching and training sessions for dedicated boys and girls who aspire to play high school, college or professional golf.
Keith's students have earned scholarships from the following schools
Junior Golf Clinics
Kids learn best through play. So all of our junior clinics include fun activities designed to accelerate learning and maximize each golfer's potential. We call this approach, teaching golf's FUN-damentals.
Junior Clinics are organizes into three different age categories to ensure that lessons are appropriate for a child’s age and developmental level.
75% of the class time is devoted to speed development and learning Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS). One golf skill "theme-of-the-day" is introduced and the stations reinforce that golf fundamental. Juniors rotate in pairs between six stations, every five minutes.
This age group will start to transition from Fundamental Movement Skills to Fundamental Sports Skills (FSS) and introduce more complex golf-specific skills. One golf swing fundamental like wrist set, clubhead path or swing plane is stressed as juniors rotate in pairs between six stations, every ten minutes.
This session focuses on power development, flexibility, stamina and endurance. At this age, skill regression is common as bones are growing faster than muscle, so we focus on skill maintenance, not skill acquisition. This training curcuit will address these unique age-appropriate training requirements.
