Winter Golf School

Attend a 4-day golf school in sunny Arizona this winter. Golf school package includes lodging, meals, golf school instruction and golf course play lessons.

Keith Lyford owned and operated the Lyford Scottsdale Golf School in Arizona for over ten years and conducted the classes at the McCormick Ranch Golf Course. Hundreds golfers attended these one, two, three and five day golf schools each year from November through May. And Keith’s instruction program was selected as one of the Top 25 Golf Schools, in America by Golf Magazine.

Now Keith is continuing this great winter tradition with special golf vacation getaway packages to sunny Arizona. These VIP golf schools focus on improving scoring, with daily on-course instruction sessions. Class size is limited to just 12 golfers per session. And a small 3 to 1 student to instructor ratio ensures that you'll get plenty of personal attention.

The home for Keith's winter golf school is Rancho de los Caballeros resort. For more than half a century the Ranch has been serving up western hospitality and style of the Spanish Caballeros. Each day you will receive our award winning golf instruction on the Ranch’s private lesson area before venturing out onto the golf course with your pro. The on-course instruction is designed to help you effectively transition from practice to play.

You’ll learn how to manage your game during real playing conditions and develop a strategy to handle all the unique situations that you encounter during a typical round of golf. We’ll show you how to think your way around the course, like a pro, so you can shave valuable strokes from your score. We’ll discuss club and shot selection, unlevel lies, special shots and much more.

After a full day of golf discovery and adventure, gather in the lodge for drinks with the golf school pros and watch the sunset paint the sky over the Bradshaw Mountains.
